Welding means the process of joining metals by causing coalescence due to heat. Here the commands are sent from a TV remote in the form of modulated IR rays. Also, many engineers have died in some engineering companies because they were ignorant of safety precautions in avoiding chemical hazards. I have used the responses above to give a sense of what people think of such tired stats. I have tried to clean-up some comments for their unsavory language, but, I would have liked to point them out to give the reader a sense of their gut response to all this social miasma they are facing and mired in. The ANc Likes to let-loose such skewed stats to try and dilute their real corrupt selves. This is not really attacking the ANC, but this article is pointing out to the discrepancies in some sort of real time presentation, and hard core information from the disenchanted subjects through their responses. The main contributions of this work are three-fold. First, we describe and discuss how sensor technology can be integrated with the transportation infrastructure to achieve a sustainable intelligent transportation system that addresses issues such as high levels of CO2 emissions, high levels of traffic congestions, and improved road safety. We describe where sensors can be placed in the transportation infrastructure, the type of information they collect and how that information is used to improve transportation making it smarter. Second, we discuss how user applications (driving assistance, passenger entertainment, collision alert, among others) and ITS applications (traffic control, road conditions, among others) can benefit from sensor technologies embedded in ITS components. We also present a taxonomy of applications that will directly benefit from all sensor data collected and improve transportation systems by making them more cost-effective, more energy-efficient and operate more efficiently for end-users and transportation systems management organizations. Finally, we discuss some of the challenges that sensor technologies need to address in the future to achieve a fully operational, non-intrusive, cooperative ITS environment. It is my considered view that the President, as the head of South Africa Incorporated, was wearing two hats, that of the ultimate guardian of the resources of the people of South Africa and that of being a beneficiary of public privileges of some of the guardians of public power and state resources, but failed to discharge his responsibilities in terms of the latter. I believe the President should have ideally asked questions regarding the scale, cost and affordability of the Nkandla projectâ€. When we talk about innovation, the safety industry isn’t always the first that comes to mind. However, with the amount of technological progress taking shape on a daily basis, this is actually one of the fastest moving fields out. Yes, the safety industry is about to get a major facelift with innovative technologies at the forefront. A typical design of the various stage of a biopotential amplifier is shown in figure 30. The three electrodes which provide the transition between the ionic flow of currents in biological tissue and electronic flow of currents in amplifier represent a complex electrochemical system. To a large extent, these electrodes determine the composition of the measured signal. The preamplifier represents the most critical part of a amplifier since it sets the stage for the quality of the biosignal. With proper design, the preamplifier can eliminate, or at least minimize, the most signal interfering with the measurement of biopotentials. In addition to electrode biopotentials and electromagnetic interference, noise which is generated by the amplifier and the connection between biological source and amplifier has to be taken into account when designing a preamplifier.
